Introduced Species

This is the worst weed in the yard. Once it gets established, it is nearly impossible to root out. Although I generally am able to remove the flowering stalks before they set seed, the plant propagates by rhizomes which are nearly impossible to remove.

But according to Forager|Chef, the leaves, flowers, and roots are edible. So maybe I should eat them, since I can't remove them.
